The tenth Muse, the least appreciated of all the Classical Greek Muses. While her elder, more well-known sisters (like Clio, Erato and Urania, the muses of History, Love Poetry and Astronomy respectively) inspired and guided those within their spheres, Miscellany would favour the men and women who poured over fields of study as disparate as horticulture, violin-repair, mermaid appreciation, and horror movie posters. BLOOM COUNTY This is the funniest cartoon strip ever. It's been discontinued for some years now, but I still find myself thinking of women as "tomatoes", sticking out my tongue and going "Ack!!", and occasionally asking for herring gut nibblets instead of chicken mcnuggets at KFC. Sadly, there isn't even one really exceptional Bloom County page out there.
